What is Thermage and how does it work?
Thermage is a non-surgical anti-aging treatment that uses patented radio frequency (RF) technology to smoothen and contour the skin.
Thermage sends a unique radiofrequency wave within the skin of the patient, which, when met with the physical resistance of the cells in the dermis, produces heat that breaks the hydrogen bonds of the collagen molecules, causing a physical change in its structure, shortening it, which in turn tightens the skin. The breaking down of the collagen chains signals the fibroblasts to produce more new collagen in response, leading to the lasting effects of the treatment for months on, post-Thermage, and a gradual restoration of the youthful aspect of the skin.

"Is Thermage Painful ?"
You may find a lot of reviews saying that thermage is painful and it's true that the first generation units used to cause pain. However, the new Total Tip 3.0 is much more comfortable for patients with a dramatic reduction in pain compared to older technology. Is Thermage safe?
Thermage is a very safe treatment with a minimal risk of side effects. The only known contraindication to Thermage treatment is having a pacemaker. The safety profile of Thermage during pregnancy has not been studied so please inform your doctor beforehand if you're pregnant.
The most common side effects of Thermage are temporary redness and minor swelling in the treatment area but these usually go away within a few hours.
How many treatment do I need ?
